2020 was a year of so many missed moments. Fewer hugs. Less family time. If the pandemic has taught us nothing else, it is to enjoy those little moments, no matter how small. That was the theme for our impromptu pool shoot with the McGlynn Family.
You may remember Charlie and Alyi. We’ve had them featured on the blog many times. They recently welcomed their first child, Ren. I cannot imagine how hard it has been for any couple to have a child during the pandemic. For Charlie and Alyi, it also meant being on the other side of the country from most of theirs. With lockdowns and limits on flights, family had a hard time getting out to meet little Ren. Any time together, even a few hours at a hotel pool, became a moment to cherish and remember. I was lucky enough to join the McGlynn family to capture a few moments, as Ren was going for his first ever swim. Needless to say, he loved it.
