I am so excited to finally be posting photos from Cheyenne and Ben’s wedding! I have been looking forward to this wedding for years! Yes, years! You may remember this lovely couple from their engagement session, which we shot in December of 2012.
I met Cheyenne a few years ago when she adopted our foster dog, Vanessa. We hit it off right away and have stayed in touch over time. When she and her boyfriend, Ben, became engaged, Cheyenne and I had dinner and went wedding/bride crazy: thoughts, tips, planning, and of course photos! I couldn’t wait for their big day!
Cheyenne was radar stalking all afternoon. It had been raining off and on all day, and we were hoping to dodge the worst of it. Thankfully, we did, and even though the ceremony was moved under the tent, it was beautiful!
This is one of my favorite shots to get: that precious moment, just after the ceremony, when the bride and groom can enjoy their first seconds together alone as a married couple.
The moment you realize exactly what those song lyrics you are singing mean…
This kid was busting moves all night. It was fabulous!
For our last photo of the night, I took Cheyenne and Ben to this beautifully lit clearing. The rain had stopped and everything had this peaceful glow. It was the perfect spot for a few final shots, and the results were incredible!
Cheyenne and Ben, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day. You are like family, and it was an honor to be there! We wish you many years filled with love and happiness!
