I love photographing animals. It can be such a challenge, which is why I hear over and over again “I can never get a good photo of my pet” or “they don’t like the camera”. For that reason, I shoot a lot of animal photos. And to let you in on a little secret, I haven’t met an animal yet that can’t be photographed.
Most of us know our pets’ personalities, but it can be hard to share that. After visiting my friends, Simon and Laura, a few times and hearing the “it’s so hard to get pictures of them” and “wish we could have a photo of that face”, it was decided that action just had to be taken! So I spent an afternoon hanging out with Pinky and Jarvis. Even Miss Zoey came out for a few shots.
Pinky is a very social little guy. He loves to hang out and curl up on the chair in the evening next to Simon.

Jarvis is an indoor/outdoor cat. He spends his days wandering around Simon and Laura’s beautiful mountain property lounging in the sun and getting into trouble. In the evening, he comes inside and joins the family.
