Lazy Daze

Every August, the Town of Cary celebrates the end of summer with an incredible festival known as Lazy Daze. This two-day festival brings in some of the best local food, beer, artists and vendors in the area to celebrate with the community. Lazy Daze also brings together different community focused organizations and societies to showcase the work they are doing.

Alycat photographers were out in full force to help the Town of Cary capture some great moments that weekend. Here are a few of our favorite shots.

The festivities included the re-dedication of the Herbert Young Community Center.

With multiple stages, the town was able to showcase quite a variety of local music over the two days.

Humans and pets were welcomed.

Local brews on tap.

And the food… Everyone enjoyed the food!

Historical sites and attractions were opened to the public as well.

This young lady was so talented. Watching her make these paintings was amazing. We may have come home if one or two.

Lazy Daze also gives members of the Cary community a chance to meet and speak with different government department representatives.

Face painting is a must for any successful festival!
