This lovely couple is Jessica and Jeff. I had the pleasure of doing this wonderful shoot with them at Duke Gardens back in May. Jessica won a photo package with us at a silent auction benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We donate several packages a year for special causes, and it is always exciting to see who it was that actually won the auction. As Jessica and I emailed back and forth planning the shoot, I could tell it was going to be fun.
There were so many photos from this shoot that I loved, but this one is definitely one of my favorites.
Jessica told me that she and Jeff hadn’t had any professional photos done since their wedding several years ago. So when she saw our package up for bidding, she thought it was the perfect chance to get some new photos. Of course, you can’t tell by the photos that these two aren’t used to being in front of the camera. They were so natural and relaxed the entire time.
I love this photo for so many reasons. It is so obvious that Jessica and Jeff have this incredibly loving relationship, and I feel like this photo really captures that. It’s such a sweet moment.
What an adorable family!
Many of you know how much Nathan and I love animals. We always make sure we can include any family pets in our shoots. So when Jessica asked if they could bring their two dogs, of course we were all about it! How could anyone say no to these cute faces?
There was quite a bit of laughing during this shoot.
It was such a pleasure to work with Jessica and Jeff! They are such an incredible couple, full of love and laughter. It is always so much fun to work with couples like that. I know I haven’t laughed that hard on a shoot in a long time!
