The Pimento Cheese Festival is back! I have been looking forward to this event ever since the Town of Cary told me it would be happening this year. After covering the first festival in 2019, I could not wait to see what fun the town for ‘cook’ up for their first Pimento Cheese event post-Covid. Let’s just say that if you weren’t there, you really missed out!
Food trucks, music, a beer garden and a game yard were just some of the highlights. The day was capped off by the Pimento Cheese sculpting contest with the winner being crowned a ‘cheese head’ by Miss North Carolina. We can’t forget about all the pimento cheese samples!
