Several months ago, Cody messaged me about doing proposal photos. He was busy making plans to propose to his long time girlfriend, Hannah, and wanted to capture the moment. The idea was to propose in the backyard of the home they had just bought together. The backyard was one of Hannah’s favorite places. So we got together, walked the backyard and created a plan. It was going to be awesome!
Much like everything in life, the world threw Cody a curveball. A day off from work turned into an overnight camping trip, which offered Cody the perfect opportunity to ask Hannah to marry him. The plan now became to surprise Hannah with photos afterwards. As I waiting for the newly engaged couple to emerge from the woods, the rain started to roll in. I was worried that our photos wouldn’t happen. In true Cody and Hannah fashion, nothing, rain included, could ruin their special day. Incredible! Beautiful! Lovely! I honestly can’t pick one word to describe how amazing this shoot was. Cody and Hannah wanted their photos to reflect who they really are and they absolutely crushed it! Their love for each other just radiates through these photos. I’m not sure it is possible to pick a favorite.
