For the past several years, Alycat has had the incredible privilege of working with Vs. Cancer. Their mission is to give athletes the opportunity to help children battling cancer, connecting them with local hospitals and supporting research for a cure.
One group that has taken that mission to heart is the West Raleigh Baseball organization. Each year, the players and coaches of West Raleigh shave their heads while helping to raise thousands of dollars. I love covering this event. To see these kids come together each year is truly heartwarming.
